Right to object in accordance with Article 21 of the GDPR
Right to object based on the particular situation
You have the right to enter an objection to the processing of personal data relating to you at any time for reasons resulting from your particular situation on the basis of Article 6(1)(1)(e) (public security) or (f) (data processing on the basis of balancing interests) of the GDPR; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. Acolada no longer processes personal data once the objection has been entered, unless it can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing that outweigh your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing is for the purpose of the assertion, exercise or defence of legal claims.
Right to object in the event of direct advertising
If Acolada processes personal data from you in order to distribute direct advertising, you have the right to enter an objection to the processing of personal data relating to you for the purposes of this type of advertising at any time; this also applies to profiling insofar as it relates to this type of direct advertising. If you object to processing for the purposes of direct advertising, the personal data will no longer be processed for these purposes.
