Login fails
Check your user name and password. If both entries are correct, then please contact our hotline.
Dictionary cannot be opened
If there is a red symbol on the dictionary icon then it cannot be opened because a licence is no longer available.
If you have a single subscription, this may occur if you are accessing the online dictionary in two different browsers or on two different devices simultaneously. The problem also occurs when you do not log off correctly and log in again after a few minutes. The licence is immediately free again only after you have logged off correctly.
If you have several concurrent licences, then more people are currently trying to access the dictionary than there are available licences. If this occurs relatively often, we recommend you increase the number of licences. Please contact us.

Which login options are available?
Log in at the assigned URL (example: https://www.unilex-online.de) in order to use an online subscription, optionally via
- automatic IP recognition
- entering your user name and password
- the user name and password being transferred with the URL (example: https://www.unilex-online.de/pages/login.aspx?user=HAnschuetz&password=ABC123)
How do I find the appendices to my dictionary?
Navigate on the right-hand side in the settings to the "Dictionaries" page. Select the required dictionary. If the dictionary has additional details, this information is shown below the dictionary list in the "Information about the dictionary" area. Here you can find the imprint, editorial information and, if available, additional information such as appendices.
